Beskrivelse
Named after the Norse explorer believed to have reached North America around the year 1000, Leif Eriksson reflects themes of exploration, courage and discovery. The artwork draws inspiration from a spirit of adventure that continues to capture the imagination more than a thousand years later.
Created as a single-exposure photograph, the artwork was originally produced for an exhibition in New York, where Trond Are Berge was invited to exhibit his work. It has since been featured in several exhibitions, including a juried exhibition at the Trondheim Art Association.
One of Trond Are Berge’s signature works.
