Wild reindeer are among the true inhabitants of the Norwegian high mountains, following ancient routes across a landscape of rock, snow and wind. Their survival is inseparable from the environment around them.
Created using Trond Are Berge’s Projectography technique, blending a photograph of running reindeer with the surface of a mountain boulder covered in lichen. The resulting image explores the deep bond between animal and landscape, where one seems almost impossible to separate from the other.
