For a few moments after sunset, the landscape is transformed by colour, light and atmosphere. In Burning Rock at Sunset, fire becomes part of that transformation, creating a dialogue between the forces of nature.
The artwork reflects on contrast, change and the beauty of fleeting moments — those rare occasions when the ordinary becomes something extraordinary.
Selected by Studio Abba for exhibition in Florence, Italy, in May 2026, where it was shown alongside contemporary artists from around the world.
