Created using Trond Are Berge’s Projectography technique, a portrait was projected onto a photograph of air bubbles trapped in frozen ice and then photographed again, blending two separate images into one.
The frozen patterns add a sense of cold, beauty and mystery. Whether the subject is dreaming, remembering, or looking out from beneath the ice is left for the viewer to decide.
