Beskrivelse
Long before roads and settlements reached the high mountains, wild reindeer travelled these landscapes. The artwork is a tribute to one of Norway’s most iconic animals and the vast mountain wilderness of western Jotunheimen, where glaciers, valleys and ancient migration routes have shaped the landscape for thousands of years.
Created using Trond Are Berge’s Projectography technique, combining a photograph of a wild reindeer with an old map of western Jotunheimen and its glacier-covered mountains.
