Beskrivelse
For thousands of years, reindeer have been woven into the history and culture of Northern Europe. Ancient rock carvings found across Scandinavia bear witness to the deep connection between people and the animals that once sustained them.
Created using Trond Are Berge’s Projectography technique, this artwork was produced on location in the mountains, transforming a natural rock surface into a contemporary tribute to one of Norway’s most iconic wild animals.
Today, wild reindeer face growing challenges as their habitats become increasingly fragmented. The artwork invites reflection on both the animal’s past significance and its uncertain future.
