Beskrivelse
Movement has always been part of the life of the wild reindeer. Throughout the year, they travel between different grazing and calving areas, following routes that have been used for generations.
In Always on the Move, a photograph of a walking wild reindeer is combined with two other elements from nature: ice bubbles and a stone marked by a distinctive white line. Using his Projectography technique, Trond Are Berge brings these separate photographs together in a single artwork.
The lines and patterns in the ice and stone continue the sense of movement through the image, while the reindeer walks steadily across the landscape.
